Today I did some colour concepts for Character 1. I wanted to go for a rustic future kind of outfit. Adding futuristic armor that is ages and some ragged clothing above. I want to give the impression this character is from the future but the armor he wears is old and passed down.
I also worked on some character concepts for character 2.
A blog following my progress as I model characters, props and environments for my CGI assessment. The purpose of which is to educate, display my work, and is part of my assessment requirements.

Day 12: "Can't quite put my Thumbnail on it..."
Today I worked on some thumbnails for my characters, and some concepts for my 1st character. I plan on doing a major rethink on the story and environment, I think I have a nice idea for what I want.

Day 11: Left the water on.
Today I have worked on finishing my environment concept. Its not 100% yet, but its good enough for concept art/look-frame. From now I will be looking at character designs.

Day 10: Framing it up.
I have been working on my look-frame still, I think having a nice strong look-frame with help me when it comes to achieving the final product. I still have to do some more developing of my characters, but my environment I am pretty much certain of its look and final feel I will go for.
For the characters, I already have Milo (The Blue lines) Designed from earlier in the year (I had designed him for personal project before I started it) and the red character I am basing off Sephiroth from FF7 and the Moonlight Butterfly from Darksouls.

Day 7: Crash and Bash!
Today I begun work on my mood boards. I also thought up a cool concept for my models (More on that later.) Had a lot of crashes, which pissed me off. But I finally got my mood boards done.

Day 6: Back in action!
Finally not sick anymore, back in class and working. I got a lit to catch up, still have to think some more of a story and concept designs for character models, layout. Need to work on mood board.Etc etc etc. Also fixed up schedule. Wish me luck. Will keep you posted.

Day 5: Schedule on Production.
Sick again. Wasn't able to come into class but I did finish my production schedule, and still thinking about concepts. Quite a lot harder to think while unwell. Hmmm.

Day 3: Searching for Re.
Looked at some blogs, some images and some other stuff all for refference and ideas of the types of models and story I am interested in doing. My mind is not quite working very well today, but I think if i just take some more time to really focus on finding the idea, style, story and think about the models, I can come up with something really great.
